BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE OWNER OPERATOR CONTRACTUAL PROCESS, WE ASK THAT YOU READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

A signed release is considered part of the contractual process and must be received by your Swift contact before proceeding. You may print and fax your Signed Release to your Swift contact once they have contacted you. State of Washington release must be included in your fax, if you currently have or held a State of Washington Driver's License in the past 5 years. Please communicate with your Swift Owner Operator liaison if you have any further questions.

In accordance with DOT Regulation 391.23 (i)(1), (i)(1)(i), (i)(1)(ii), (i)(1)(iii): All drivers working in a Department of Transportation regulated industry during the preceding three years from application date have the following rights regarding the investigative information that is being provided to the prospective company under which a driver operates as required by DOT Regulation 391.23 (d) and (e).

The right to review information provided by previous employers or companies for whom you operated; The right to have errors in the information corrected by the previous employers or companies for whom you operated and for the previous employers or companies for whom you operated to re-send the corrected information to the prospective employer or company for whom you will potentially operate for; The right to have a rebuttal statement attached to the alleged erroneous information, if the previous employers or companies for whom you operated and the driver cannot agree on accuracy of the information.
